Unlimited mileage

All car rentals booked through our web service includes unlimited mileage/kilometres, meaning you can travel as far as you like!

3rd Party Insurance

3rd Party Insurance is included in all of our quotations. That means you’re covered for any damage you may accidentally cause to someone else’s property. In the event of an accident, the other vehicle, its occupants and any passengers in your rental vehicle are fully covered.

The driver of the rental vehicle is excluded from 3rd Party Insurance and cannot claim personal injury. Our advice is to check your own personal travel insurance policy.

Airport surcharges

If you rent from a rental car company located on an airport, be prepared to pay a small fee called an airport surcharge. The rental company pays to operate from the airport, and the fee is usually passed on to customers. Off-airport rental car locations might be a little cheaper, but you'll have to catch a cab or shuttle to the location to pick up your car.

Loss Damage Waiver (LDW)

Loss Damage Waiver is a rental-car insurance option that relieves (to a limited amount) the customer of damages arising from loss of the car or any damage to it. It is provided if the car is driven in accordance with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. This »limited amount« is called the insurance excess and depends on the car rental company and the type of vehicle.

For example, let's say that your booking document states that a LDW excess of €500 is included in your reservation. Your rental car gets damaged and it's going to cost €1,000 to get it fixed - your LDW excess means that you pay no more than €500 of the repair costs.

Our local car rental partner will ask you to leave a deposit of the value of the theft excess or insurance excess damage, which may be charged to you if the car is damaged / stolen during the rental.

Theft protection

All car rentals booked through our web service include limited Theft protection insurance similar to Loss Damage Waiver. This means that you won't be liable for most of the damage to your rental vehicle if it gets stolen - you only cover insurance excess.

Theft protection doesn't apply to any personal stuff that you may have left in the vehicle.

24 hours road assistance

IzziRent partners offer you 24 hour roadside assistance with vehicle substitution (if needed) in case of accident/damage to the car.

VAT

Our rates include local country and state taxes (such as VAT) that are applicable to car rental.

Our prices don't include environment or fuel taxes (where applicable) or Nominal Road Fund Tax, which is charged in some countries.
